Regarding “Data Registration and Data Confirmation
on the New Doctoral Human Resources Database (JGRAD)“ (Request)
We, National Institute of Science and Technology Policy (NISTEP) of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, are developing JGRAD as part of information infrastructure project. The project has a twofold purpose. First, it is to utilize the career information of the doctoral human resources accumulated in the database for national policy planning. Second, it is to provide feedback to registrants, universities, and industry by data contributing to expand opportunities for doctoral human resources in society and improve university programs. It is thus essential for the project to have continuous update information by registrants for collecting and utilizing career information. We would be grateful for your continuous support.
In order to improve the convenience of the JGRAD, we reviewed the data items and implemented the system renovation. Every data registered in the past shall be migrated to new JGRAD. Please check your migrated data and register your information on new items after system renewal during the following request term;
1. Request Term: From January 15th(Mon.) to February 28th (Wed.), 2018
2. Request Items: Access to JGRAD (https://hr.nistep.go.jp/) and perform the following
- Check whether your data is migrated to new system and update them
- Register your basic information on new data items in profile
